Can AM influence your character's mind? This one, yes! Jonathan is still a very young Ekon who hasn't quite grasped all of his abilities or defenses against other people with similar powers, so go for it.

Can AM read your character's mind? Yes for general emotions! No for specific thoughts.

Can AM be violent with your character? Go ahead. Jonathan will just fight back.
