AM was an arachne in Ryslig from June 2015 through the end of April 2017. His traits were then resorted and he was changed to a demon at the beginning of May 2017. For his appearance and chronicles as an arachne, click here.

NORMAL FORM

AM's normal form is the form he takes on most of the time.



He looks the most human in this form. Above the waist he is a regular-looking middle-aged man, except that he has fangs in place of maxillary and mandibular canine teeth. He has a very long tongue, courtesy of the Fog God. He also has sharp claws for fingernails, and distinctive runes on his back from the All Hallow's Eve event of 2015. The runes symbolize the Christian symbol for eternity with electric wires forming a tree out of it.

His spider body is based upon Atrax robustus (Sydney funnel-web spider). The legs are a bit longer and the body is higher off the ground.

FOG FORM

AM takes on the fog form when the fog settles in.



While he still looks somewhat human here, he is taller and more spiderlike. All of his skin takes on the bristly, grey appearance of a spider. His hair takes on a darker color to go with the grey spider appearance. He also has eight red eyes and mandibles. In August 2016, AM was infected with a parasite and killed. This resulted in him permanently gaining bladed legs in his fog form.

In the fog form, he has increased strength and ferocity, as well as lowered inhibitions.

"MYRMIDON" FORM

Grandfathered in from the old Fog God boon system, AM can switch between the "myrmidon" and humanoid "myrmidon" forms for up to eight hours a day.





In the myrmidon form, he is about 30 feet long. If perched on his tail as pictured, he is about 14 feet high. Very huge. He has eight arms, all of which have functioning hands with three fingers (or a thumb and two fingers). In lieu of the fourth finger and little finger, he has a giant blade jutting out of the hand.

While he can crawl on the hands, he can also move about with the tail somewhat like a snake. In the humanoid myrmidon form, the four arms translate to his legs for the most part. As far as motor functioning, the top two arms translate to his human arms, the second row of arms translate to his pedipalps, the third and fourth row translate to his front two rows of legs, and the last two rows of legs translate to controlling his tail. (In humanoid myrmidon form, the tail doesn't do much.)

The humanoid myrmidon form approximates the myrmidon form in most ways, but it is smaller and easier to move around. It does not have the massive strength and ferocity that the myrmidon form has, and is more for convenience than anything.

After using the myrmidon/humanoid myrmidon forms, AM is famished and exhausted.
